The Effects of Office Bleaching Techniques on Nanoceramic Composite Resin

Objective: The aim was to evaluate the effect of activated bleaching agents on nanoceramic composite resins based microhardness and surface roughness measurements.
 Methods: Opalescence Boost (Ultradent Products, USA) Whiteness HP Blue Calcium (FGM Dental Brazil) a resin Ceram.X® SphereTEC™ One (DENTSPLY, Germany) were used in study. Fifty samples disc form (8x2mm) prepared. polished with discs (Sof-Lex, 3M St.Paul, incubated dark distilled water. Samples divided into 5 main groups (n=10). Control group (C), Boost/ without light (OB), (OBL), Blue/ (WB), (WBL). Surface (Ra) Vickers (VHN) measurements conducted after process. Statistical analyses performed using Kruskal Wallis – H test Mann Whitney U test; p value < 0.05 considered statistically significant.
 Result: VHN significantly different among terms application (p = 0.008). Ra not respect or lighting conditions 0.144).
 Conclusion: Within this study, procedure values increased, however did show any roughness.
